Drip Painting View from Anacortes,Landscape,oil on canvas,16x20price$675

This is one of my smaller drip paintings that is going into a group Landscape show this month at Allied Arts. The drip paintings were inspired by my plein air paintings and a love of Helen Frankenthaler's paintings of the 1960's. I turn my plein air painting side ways and use it as my model. The painting I'm working on is also on it's side as I drip the oil colors on it. This is very different from my other paintings, but a lot of fun.
