This is a painting I did today of a cantaloupe and a cup. I finished my 2014 book keeping this morning. So I was able to do a painting too in the afternoon. Another lime painting. This one is painted with a brush and is on gessoed board. I mostly paint on canvas. I will put up yesterday's "Limelight" I still feel it needs more work. I am very happy with today's painting.

I am inspired by many artist. Elena Katsyura does the most beautiful citrus wedges. This is my first attempt at lemon wedges. Today I had 3 bucks in our yard. So I took pictures of them. Where are their girl friends?

This is a painting I did from seeing the morning fog on an iris field south of here in La Conner,Wa. The other painting is up in the Music Library at our local University. Anyone can see it there. It is winter on the Chuckanut mountains over looking the islands.
