I put up two pictures of me painting in my garden. I'm under the apple tree and next to the fig tree. My small pup wanted to be in the picture too.

These peonies are back lit by the sun. So the painting is a study in values. I have the outdoors as one value even though there were trees, alley, and houses. The pink peonies were in shadow except for the edges.
