I thought that I had posted this painting already since I painted it a while back. But I didn't see it in my gallery on this site. So here it is. Someone asked me if I had a boat because I paint so many. No, I just love being out on the bay and looking at the boats, the sea, the Islands and so on. Then I paint them.

Again I did persimmons. This is painted with brushes and a palette knife. I still need to make sure they are the right mix of Red and orange and pink to have them look like persimmons and not tomatoes.

This is today's painting with two photos. One I took in shadow with me between the sun and the painting. The first one is taken in the sun. Same painting. I did this painting with a palette knife. Persimmons are a hard color to match. If they are painted to red/pink they look like strawberries, to orange/red and they look like tomatoes. They have to be orange/pink.
