This is another orange pansy painting with a blue background. I used Quinacridone Sienna for the shadows on the pansies. I have been painting caramel and have mixed it into my paints for them. I will show off that little painting next month after the 30 day pansy challenge is over.

Another pansy plant. I used a different camera today. The image is more yellow/amber but sharper with this camera. Sunlight gives me the best image. Here in the northwest it may be April before I see the sun again.

This is a painting of a clear cut up on Chuckanut Mountain. The Fireweed takes over and makes the mountain side purple.
