Soft orange Prinrose,still life,oil on canvas,6x6,price$200
This is the second orange primrose that I painted in a softer, almost a watercolor, style. Today I varnished most of my winter paintings outside with Gamvar. The Gamblin co. is so helpful if you have a question or two they will get right back to you with help and knowledge about their products.

First Orange Primrose,still life,oil on canvas,6x6,price$200
This is the first orange primrose I painted yesterday. I felt it was a bit heavy so today's orange primrose painting is a bit looser. I like them both. They are just different styles.

Grapes,still life.oil on canvas,8x8.price$275
I haven't painted grapes in a while. These were sitting on our kitchen counter looking as if they needed to be painted. I started out with a lose brush painting and ended up with more detail then I wanted to do. But I'm happy with it and it was fun to do.

This is another daffodil field. This was a fun painting to do today. Since we are having daffodils blooming already in February, I fear the tulips will be out way before the Tulip festival in April. I also worked more on Lush Island Sailing.

Today I painted the orchids that are in my studio. This morning I joined my drawing group for the first time since early December. We drew Jim. Jim's wife has been ill and it sadly shows in his face. I've been so busy painting for the Dutch beverage company. That job maybe almost over.

Birthday Flowers,still life,oil on canvas,8x8,price$225
One Friday my husband gave me a large, tall bouquet of flowers for my birthday. Yesterday was my son's birthday so I cut down one of the flowers short and stuck it in a pewter pitcher for a center piece. We all agreed that I should paint the centerpiece. I don't know what the flowers are called.

This was the painting that had the peach. I removed the peach remembering one of my instructors at the Academy, Ben Kamihira, saying if it doesn't add anything to the painting remove it.
