We have high winds today. Our electricity was out about the time I go down to my studio to paint. No light, gray day find something else productive to do. This is a painting of apples from a year ago.

I have 4 apple trees. Today I picked the Summer Reds. They were my husbands favorite. I also cleaned out my husband's "Macgyver" car today. It sold to my son's friend. She lives on the mountain where my husband died. They used to go mushroom picking together.

Here again I put one image of the apple painting that was taken in the shade and the other image taken in the sun. The sun image shows the brush work but the shade image is too cool.

I cut this rose on my way down to my studio after lunch. I often don't know what I'm going to paint until I get down here in front of my paints.This still life was in the sun, so the light kept changing, but I think it worked.
