I painted this painting yesterday on my birthday. After putting the image on Facebook one of my friends pointed out that a pitcher is the symbol of Aquarius. So it turned out to be the perfect subject for the day. I also received notice that I was one of 34 artist to have art work in the Spring Art show in Anacortes while the tullips are in bloom.

Wow, my studio smells like lemons. I took two images of this painting. Both in outside, over cast light. the lower one was in shadow, so cooler.

Today's painting of lemons in one of my bowls. The image on top was taken in the sun, the lower image was taken in the shade. It's hard to show to true yellows in this painting. I think that is why I sell so many of my paintings from my studio where you can see the true bright colors.

My brother and his wife sent me this lovely bouquet for Christmas. I'm just getting around to painting it. I did remove the small green leaves on the upper left of the painting. It didn't add anything to the painting.
