Again, another painting for the July art Show. This was painted of a boat in low tide up in Birch Bay. The sun was behind the boat. So the boat and people are in shadow.

My computer in the Studio is dead. My son is getting me a new one. It will take a little time to get it uploaded with my files. In the meantime I will put up older paintings that I have on this laptop that I use up in my house. This painting sold a number of years ago to a nice neighbor who was just walking by with his door and came in to see my art work.

I have a large mock orange bush/tree in our front yard. The fragrance is wonderful. So I painted just a small cutting from the tree. My studio smells great even with the wed dogs on the sofa.

This is one of my favorite paintings. I took a number of photos of the young woman in her motor boat returning from Market to her larger boat with her child and dog. The first painting I did won a price and sold on Friday Harbor where the boat was.This painting will be going in next Month's show.

Great news. Last night I received Best In Show for my painting of two research men in the tide waters. The Juror was Lois Griffel who studied under Henry Hensche of the Cape Cod School of color. The show is on for two month at Scott Milo Gallery in Anacortes, WA. My paintings are showing with other paintings of the Plein Air Washington members.It's a great show.
