This is one of two commissioned paintings that I did for a lovely lady who saw an image of the painting that I put up yesterday of "Child's Play". The lady bought one of the two paintings that I named "Jennifer's Children". We became friends and she told me that her daughter now has the painting that she bought.

I painted 4 abstract paintings today. They were inspired by my friend Sharon Kingston. She made a large painting that resembled a Rothko's paintings.I feel in love with it.I wanted to paint these with out looking at Rothko's work.Sometimes I need to get an idea out on canvas.

This is a better image of the fig painting. I have a fig tree. It has two flushes or crops of fruit a season. But the second flush doesn't get ripe.I wish that they did. I love figs.

Here is a painting of apples. I didn't put up today's painting of figs from my tree. The image didn't show the yellows. So the painting was too green. I'll see if I can make a better image.

I love painting my paint tubes. I love their colors. I love the challenge in making a good composition or arrangement which comes often by just dropping them down on the table. I like the shadows they cast. See my blog for a couple more tube paintings.
