My neighbor and I went down to the tulip fields today. So I didn't paint. This painting is of a young girl in the tulip fields and shows that she was ready for the rain. I painted it a couple of years ago. We were lucky today because the weather was beautiful.

This is today's painting of a purple pansy. I applied to a show today for " little Gems". Last year I got Best in Show at this same juried show. I have been giving it some thought and I think This will be my last show. Time to retire from shows. I will still paint. I love painting too much to stop. I've been showing in shows since the 60's. So you see a long time.

I picked up these sunflowers yesterday at Trader Joe's and painted them today. I love painting Sunflowers. They are such a happy flower.

My neighbor gave me some cuttings from his Magnolia tree. The blossoms were too beautiful. So I painted them. One of the images was taken outside, the other under inside light. Very different colors.One is too blue the other too orange. When the sun comes out I will take another image.

I brought this geranium plant home today to paint. I went to get a new memory card and ended up with a new camera. So this is the first time using this camera on my painting. I hope it works OK.
