Last summer I was in a Tennis art show in Seattle where 3 of my 5 paintings now have homes. I painted this painting from a photo by Marija Zivlak. I thought since Serena Williams just won again at Wimbledon I would post this painting.

New Pear Painting,still life,oil on canvas,5x7,price$175
I painted the same group of pears today. I wanted to paint them with big brushes. But I ended up using smaller brushes as well. The two paintings look almost the same. I put up a drawing of our model from two weeks ago. I'll put up today's drawings soon.

This morning we pick up these pears at our local food co-op. My pears aren't ready yet to be picked. I wanted to paint with only my big brushes but ended up using all sizes. Maybe tomorrow.
