Today's painting of a sail boat with US flag sailing. I took away the heavy detailed first painting. The background Island forest was way too heavy. So I started over and kept the painting from getting too over worked. I like it better. Enjoy.

Today's painting is another sailing boat painting. Inspired by our recent whale watching trip in the San Juan Islands here in Washington State. In this painting I mostly used the brush but I did use a little painting knife in the sea.The painting is very wet so it reflected the light on the brush stroks. Enjoy
