This is one of my favorite colored peonies. I had to take it's picture in the sun and shade as well to see which image was best. Also pictures of my garden looking up at my house from my studio. Looking south and north as well from my studio.

I painted another painting of the white peonies with a pinkish background so that the cool white would stand out. I photoed the painting in sunlight and shade. I liked the shade image better. Puppy is doing well and my older dog is enjoying playing with her.

was white too. The red and pink ones smell so good but the white ones don't have a smell.

New painting of the same peonies in a glass vase. Having the puppy and dog with me in the studio makes it hard for me to run outside and pick new flowers. They both want to come out with me and run around.Once they are in the studio they sleep and I can paint.

I had planned on doing a mother and child for Mother's day but I saw the first of my garden iris and had to pant them. This group of iris smell spicy.They are from my friend Dawn.As I started to paint what I thought would be purple turned into a whole lot of colors.Still have my puppy in my studio while I paint along with my dog.

My mother was English. Tea was every afternoon at my parents home. People were always welcome for tea and cookies at 4. So this was painted in memory of my mother for Mother's Day weekend. While I painting today, my 13 week old puppy let me know that she needed to go. I was happy to stop what I was doing and take her out. All ended well and I went back to my painting.

Today's poppies wilted and fell over so fast. It was hard to paint them. Moving models. The puppy was great. She napped along with my older dog. It's good to get a puppy in the routine. She is 13 and a half weeks old. I'll take them out for a walk now.
