First Iris,still life,oil on canvas,10x8,price$250

I had planned on doing a mother and child for Mother's day but I saw the first of my garden iris and had to pant them. This group of iris smell spicy.They are from my friend Dawn.As I started to paint what I thought would be purple turned into a whole lot of colors.Still have my puppy in my studio while I paint along with my dog.
